On the Way to Midgard | |||
At certain times of the year the Namibian countryside is white, pink and gold with lovely grasses everywhere. They have a reflective quality to them and shimmer under both the sun and the moon. Clouds start to build in the sky, teasing everyone with hopes of rain and fears of drought. One sees trees seemingly dead, yet out of which new life springs. This painting resulted from my fascination of this desert phenomenon. | |||
